CrossCheck System Certified on Hypercom Optimum T4200 Series Payment Terminals

SCOTTSDALE and ROHNERT PARK, CA, August 21, 2008 (AllPayNews) -- Hypercom Corporation (NYSE: HYC) and CrossCheck, Inc., the nation’s third largest check approval and guarantee company, announced the development and certification of CrossCheck’s check conversion and standard guarantee applications on Hypercom’s Optimum T4200 series multi-application payment terminals. The T4200 series supports authorizations through CrossCheck’s Host for standard guarantee and electronic check conversion services.

Standard guarantee manual entry, standard guarantee multiple check, standard guarantee with a check reader, electronic check conversion with imaging and electronic check conversion non-imaging are all supported on the high speed, high security Optimum T4200 devices. The applications will also support Driver’s License swiping, an important anti-fraud measure. Traditional dial and high-speed Internet processing are also supported.
